2025 Trees of Heroes
It is important to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by these Heroes from Washington. To show gratitude for their service in safeguarding the nation's values and principles. The Fallen Heroes Project and Gold Star Families have partnered to have 10+Trees of Heroes in Washington.
The Heroes honored are not a complete representation of those who paid the ultimate price.

Gold Star Families leadership with event host, WWII Veteran Jim Carlson
Jim was presented with a Honor Quilt from WA Gold Star Mothers, and a Department of Veteran's Affairs Challenge Coin. Department President Monica McNeal also was presented a challenge coin from WA Veterans Affairs Director Alfie Alvarado.
