Jordan D Cook was born in Bremerton WA on 7-16-1999 to Floyd T and Brenda Cook. He has two older sisters that adored him. He was such a amazing, kind and generous person. He had a funny sense of humor and always made us laugh. His dream in life was to become a Marine. He graduated from Kingston High School in 2017. His favorite pastime was playing video games. He would stay up until the wee hours of the morning on his Xbox with friends. After graduating from High school he started working for Port Madison Enterprises at a store/gas station. In 2018 he announced that he was joining the Marines.
Jordan left for boot camp on August 26, 2019. He graduated from MCRD San Diego CA on 12, 6, 2019. He was in Hotel Company platoon 2171. That was one of his proudest moments. He was able to come home to WA for 28 days. He left to go to MCT at Camp Pendleton on Jan 3, 2020. I had no idea this would be our final goodbye. After MCT he went to MOS school in NC. When he graduated from MOS school, COVID 19 was very active and he was denied his leave to come home. He went to his first permanent duty station in Hawaii in 3, 2020. He was in supply at Headquarters and Service Battalion, MARFORPAC, Camp Smith Hawaii. He loved it. He was probably the happiest he had ever been. He would call home about 3 times a week to chat. He was planning on starting school. He was already talking about reenlisting. On 7, 31, 2020 he completed a course he was taking for Lance Corporal.
8, 1, 2020 I was notified that he was the passenger in a car, with two other Marines, that had an accident. My precious son was gone at 21 years old. He is greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
